Endothelial cells

Endothelial cells form the vasculature of the tissue. These include blood and vascular endothelial cells (BECs or VECs), and lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs).

Marker genes: Cdh5, Pecam (CD31), Emcn.

Abbreviated cell population name(s): EC (e.g. “EC1”, “EC2”…).
